Chantons en chœur(s) pour réchauffer février ! Le hasard des publications fait que deux albums paraissent dans une formule assemblant un combo "jazz" et un ensemble vocal. Chez Edition Records, ce sont Dave Holland (contrebasse) et Norma Winstone (voix) qui rendent hommage à Kenny Wheeler [1] avec le London Vocal Project dans Vital Spark. En France, le pianiste Paul Lay a eu la même envie avec son trio associé au chœur de chambre Les Éléments. L’album s’intitule Waves of Light et c’est chez Libellule Records.
